Mission Impossible 5/5 - CLASSIC. Brain Depalma killed it, the action, style, everything was dope about this movie

M:I 2: 4/5 - Dope Action Scenes and style. This was the movie that basically made Ethan Hunt a Legendary Character.

M:I 3 3.5/5 - Dope Villain, weak story-line

M:I Ghost P - 4.5/5 - Solid action, Solid story and setting. Average Villain.


So honestly no there hasn't really been a "Bad" film in the series. I think 1 and 4 are the best but "Mission Impossible 2" had so much Impact, it's the Biggest Film of the franchise domestically and "Ghost P" came in crushed the building doing 700+ Million WW. So I think the Franchise is just fine. Tome does these movies once every 5 years so it's not like he's shoving the franchise down our throats like other studios are doing. Ethan Hunt is now a Legendary Character. The Film Franchise is about to turn 20 years old next year.

Tom Cruise is one of the GOATs.
This cat doesn't get enough credit for doing all of his own stunts and for his professionalism.
I remember listening to a Jay Mohr podcast when Jay spoke about working with him for the 1st time in Jerry Maguire.
When he first walked in to read w/ Cruise, the director/producer would call out a page for Jay and Tom to go over and Tom could recite his lines, from that page, word for word, from memory.
Even knew Jay's lines. Mohr was like .

The couch jumping incident on Oprah and fake marriage to Katie Holmes really has turned people off from him.
Movies like Jack Reacher and Edge of Tomorrow deserved better box office numbers but if it aint the MI franchise, American audiences are .

Hollywood has been turning over every stone to find the next Tom Cruise, a young American dramatic/action box office darling, but has failed miserably.
