fukk all yall. This would have been disrespectful to TDK and to Heath. It might have tarnished the whole trilogy. If joker couldnt have been in the whole movie no need to have a cameo. No one would be able to match up to Heaths joker. It would have been lame and cheesy to have somebody fill in just for that. It wouldnt have been right

Come on man...not even a MENTION of him? I haven't seen a drop so silent since George Lucas didn't mention midichlorians in Ep 3 (that was a very good call however)

nolan stated in several interviews that he wasn't going to have the joker shown or mentioned in any shape or form out of respect of leger's death. he felt like it's merely exploiting the tragedy and cheapening whut he done in TDK.

we aren't talking about scarface that's a whole different type of movie. Batman is a comic book movie that's redone every few years or so. Scarface is a once in a lifetime movie. like the godfather. legendary movies that isn't likely to be remade.

now you know sometime within the next 50 years there will be talks of a new Batman, and it wouldn't be shyt unless his greatest enemy wouldn't be in it.

exactly. Plus...it's just a damn movie lol. people act like it was a cardinal sin to even suggest a CGI or small cameo by a Joker like it's insulting.

I get what he's saying though. In the next installment of Batman, sure ... do another Joker, and let another actor portray him however he wants. But in THIS trilogy, one actor portraying Joker is enough. This isn't like Katie Holmes pulling out of playing Rachel, this is a dude who made the last film what it was for a lot of people.
