I may be one of the few that's loving the show. The worst part of the show is Fez and as long as I treat him as comic relief I'm good.
It looks like halfway was too much to expect. There's already talk of pulling the plug on it.

why do networks still rely on "ratings"? in the article it says once they count the streamers and dvdr watchers it has over 7.5 million viewers. the days of people sitting around their living room TV at night have long passed

Advertising.
It's hard to charge companies money for advertising when:
1. There's not a lot of people watching the show the time it airs.
2. Most of them stream or DVR it which equals fast forwarding through commercials.
Money is the primary goal for networks, so if you don't have eyes on your show for advertising money, or get tons of money from countries/territories like the UK & Europe, Asia etc. buying the rights to air your show, it's dead in the water unless its cheap to produce. And nothing about Minority Report looks cheap, even if it films in Vancouver.
Might as well pull the couple million dollars an ep it would take to make and try another show until something "hits".

Already saw this news, and it was always coming. Either way, Greenwald, Sepinwall and Feinberg let me know I didn't need to watch anyway.
On another note, what do you guys (@satam55 @MartyMcFly) think this means for Meagan?
After Deception and now this, that's two shows she's top-lined that have bombed.
I don't think you can blame her for the failures per se, but I do think that some people up in those offices mistake nikkas wanting to fukk Meagan Good and her being popular in that regard for meaning we actually wanna see her act.
I personally think she's miscast, because there's no way in hell she's believable as an authority figure. My bae Beharie is way better in that regard.
To be honest, I don't know why they try with Meagan, I've always viewed her as a glorified video girl. I don't think she's very good and if I had carte blanche to cast her in something, I can't even think of what it would be besides some soapy shyt like BET's The Game.
