White people view police as their personal protectors... call the police to stop them from getting harmed by big black bullies... that’s literally what she said in her apology. Thats why they cape so hard, they actually think police are specifically there to serve and protect JUST them.

So when they see a cop killing an unarmed black man like this, or an ex cop like the young man before, and etc., they don’t care. They think that the police was protecting someone from a criminal armed or not... so lets assassinate his character to make them feel even better about the situation... to ease any guilt they might have for not feeling anything for the man.


Meanwhile, black people know the police have a huge history of mistreating black people (men specifically) since the abolishment of slavery. It was another form of slavery to criminalize black men innocent or not and put them back in chains and cages, continue to destroy black families, continue the cycle of poverty and mistreatment, and continue to practice oppression behind the disguise of the “law”.
