The owner’s probably going off of the assumption that they worked on differing nights. From what I gather from the statement, the officers were afraid of black men, so on the nights where there’d be a large AA presence they’d bring in Floyd and other black security, and they have Chaustin on the nights when the Cacs partied.



I’m still not sure why there’s such a hang up on whether they knew one another or not. Knowing him or not should have no bearing on the FACT that he lynched George Floyd.
