It's most likely you don't have many interactions with Hip Hop heads then, I know mad people in real life who know about him.
Some of the youth absolutely are, and everything helps. Even myself, I was listening to K-Rino as a teenager.
My younger cousins love K-Rino. You would be surprised how many people know of him and his music brother.

I was at the Minister Farrakhans conference today. It was awesome! I meet D-1, Bun B, and a few other texas legends. My man K-Rino hooked it up. Awesome experience.

K-Rino is a hiphop legend. Please don't use the general opinion from cacs on the coli to judge K-Rino. He received a standing ovation at the Minister's conference yesterday. He's such a great man....

If whatever doctrine Malcolm came across post-NOI that WASN'T teaching him that the white man is the devil...than his newly adopted doctrine was useless.
Most folks i know that adhere to "real islam" are out'chea in these streets bugged out...and spend their days and nights terrorizing other black folk...or are behind the walls...the NOI ain't wit that one foot in the street the other in the mosque shyt...i've personally seen the Nation square away black folk and completely turn their lives around...too many people to even name...i've rarely seen this with folks that adopt purist sunni-islam.
The NOI is one of the most respectable black organizations out there...and will always have my respect...and the leader of said organization has an absolutely stellar taste in rap music.
As a matter of fact...i'm fixin' to hit up my local strip mall where a NOI chapter is present right now and cop about 10 bean pies and the latest edition of the final call from the brothers because of this thread

The event was yesterday morning at the Hiton Post oak. Over 1500 people were in attendance. Minister Farrakhan is launching is 20th anniversary million man march event and he was in Houston to promote it. Tons of rapppers and politicians were there, including sheila jackson lee.

Bruh, I have a friend who is a massive hip hop fan. Born and raised in Houston. Scarface is probably his all-time favorite rapper.
He posts music/hip hop related stuff all the time. In my 11 years of knowing dude, he has NEVER posted a K-Rino track or even mentioned dude. I had to ask him about K-Rino after seeing Ruler's deepthroating and he was like: 'yeah, he's just some random local nikka.' and that was the end of the convo.
