Why is it one of the highest rated urban shows in America?
A lot of women(not all but the majority) want that particular lifestyle that those actors portray. The actors on that show displays women who are independent, works in the entertainment, have cars and nice things and have bad argumentative relationships just to feel alive. It's the glamour that attracts them...like a moth to a flame.
Let's be real here, why aren't there shows about black women who are in college and is successful? Would the majority of black women enjoy watching a show about that or shows like Love and Hip-Hop?
They may not look up to them as a person per say but they do look up to their lifestyle.
