They made it to the conference finals and lost to a team that was better than team.
That team that made it to the conference finals lost a starter who made more threes than anyone else in that series.
And it remains to be seen whether the 2019 Raptors are better than the final form of the 2020 Lakers. I don't think these Lakers, if healthy, would have struggled to put away the corpse of Golden State as much as Toronto did.
Giannis literally looks like a combo of Bron and AD in one player now. Individually, he’s better this year. It’s def win this year for him or he packs his bags and moves on when the time comes
Except both of them shoot better than he does. I get what you're saying tough, he's like AD with a little less range but with Bron-lite handles/passing.
The bucks might not have a better number 2 than the lakers, whether that’s AD or Lebron. But I think they have a better number 1, and a number 3 and 4-5. A better coach and bench.
Plus I think they’ll make one more big significant move to strengthen their bench. Someone like marcus morris Jr or JJ reddik. They can trade their own first or pacers first for either player.
They have a more well-rounded starting lineup, but I'm not feeling you on "a better bench" or "a better coach". We'll see who actually plays when the playoffs come around.
I think the biggest difference maker in the end is LeBron bball IQ. No one on Milwaukee has even close to LeBron's bball IQ. LeBron will be dictating the game from the Laker side of the court in the Finals if they get there. Who will be dictating things on Milwaukee's side?
