The more power that capitalists have in relation to government, the greater degree to which they will control it for their own ends.
Smaller government gives the capitalists MORE power to direct their agenda, not less.
I can give you multiple examples of "bigger" governments (by your definition) where there is less crony capitalism than the USA. Can you give me any examples of "smaller" governments (by your definition) with less crony capitalism?

Watching him disgustingly tap dance around how he and his cronies came in to assist Pinochet on the last page as he fukking laughs, in 1991(!) less than a full fukking year after he was ousted from power for his rampant evil and slaughter of dissidents and socialists, is despicable. And not only is it despicable, it's a lie, he directly had a hand in the Chilean economy during the Pinochet regime, and would it shock you all to know that Chile took decades to recover from it?

Milton Friedman's economic theories only produce economic freedom for large corporations. Supply-side economics/Reaganomics was like jet fuel for income inequality.:martinbp:
It's been shown, time and time again, that when so-called job creators are given tax breaks and incentives, they choose to line their own pockets rather than create more jobs or offer more benefits to their employees. :bpgucci:
