I remember Dibiase Jr’s wife used to comment and partake on MocoSpace years ago. It was around the time he was in the storyline with R-Truth :mjlol:

Surely he had to know that they were investigating, which is why he tried to sell the house before they seized it.

DiBiase said on his podcast that he is dealing with memory issues because of severe brain trauma.

DiBiase said: "I'm dealing with this, this is legit. I don't have Alzheimer's and I don't have dementia but they said, 'Ted, you have something, we just simply call it severe brain trauma.' I said, 'Really?' I only wrestled for maybe almost 20 years, so I'm not surprised that I might have a little brain trauma."

He added, "What it affects is my memory and they say it'll be easier for you to remember something you did 40 or 50 years ago but the short-term memory, some of the stuff right now, it's bits and pieces."

Hella convenient :pachaha:

Ted DiBiase Jr. was previously charged with “one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and to commit theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and four counts of money laundering.” The former WWE star was indicted and accused of misappropriating federal money for his own personal use, along with several co-conspirators.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that a hearing held before Mississippi Southern District Court Magistrate Judge LaKeysha Greer Isaac led to a new trial date of August 26, 2025. The trial has been delayed multiple times. It had been set for January 7, 2025. Ted DiBiase Jr. was initially set to stand trial in July 2023. However, the ruling judge recused himself, so the case was delayed.

WJTV in Mississippi reports that there had been a discussion that Ted DiBiase Jr. might need to find new representation due to a possible conflict of interest because his attorneys had represented someone involved in the same scandal.

If Ted DiBiase Jr. is convicted, he would face a maximum of five years in prison for the count of conspiracy, as well as a maximium of 20 years for each of the wire fraud counts, and a maximum of 10 years for each count of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds and for each money laundering count.
