I never understood why they didn’t just double down on the lie. The record skipped…just say you lip synched that performance
The actual rappers and singers were outing them..
I never understood why they didn’t just double down on the lie. The record skipped…just say you lip synched that performance
Brehs, this documentary was great. My favorite part was the press conference.
CAC Reporter: “don’t you feel bad for lying to the fans?”
Rob: “Did you grow up in the projects? If you were poor and you had an opportunity to get out, would you say no?”
CAC Reporter: “Your talent would’ve got you out of the projects.”
Black reporter: “HIS TALENT WOULD GET HIM OUT?? Spoken like a true white boy. His talent? RIIIIIGHT. You knew that shyt wasn’t true when you said it.”
That CAC tried to hit him with “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” babble.
Love it when brothers stay on code.![]()

The n-gga who submitted Blame it on the Rain to the Grammy's would of went missing that dayOf course not.. the money generated was a no brainer to just ride it til that album was done.
Clive knew. He was content to just ride that album out.
Unheard of at the time, no one including Madonna was doing that.I never understood why they didn’t just double down on the lie. The record skipped…just say you lip synched that performance
I used to love this & was huge in the gay clubbing scene back when it was on white label.

1. Seen it when it came out and loved it
2. They were really made the scapegoat when Frank Farian was the mastermind behind the whole thing and Boney M's success
3.at ambulance chasing lawyers and fans trying to get money out of it
4. Crazy ironic Fab has a voice that would make him a pretty good artist today
5. I do believe race played a decent sized factor into it because they weren't the only ones and I'm not talking about Seduction, Technotronic, Black Box, and C+C Music Factory
6. Thinking about 5 makes me wish that there was an Chicago/Deep/Italian House Music renaissance today
That part had me dyingBrehs, this documentary was great. My favorite part was the press conference.

at the time that it happened, nobody really noticed or cared (I remember watching the Behind the Music of this)I never understood why they didn’t just double down on the lie. The record skipped…just say you lip synched that performance
