. I am optimistic that we will get it and eventually become involved. I think my generation is waiting for a leader. I think we are disillusioned, cynical and emotionally sedated. It is very much an inconvenience to have to really stand for something, especially when you have the type of society we have now where things are convenient and fast and entertainment is easily accessible. Things will get better and we will take up the cause. There are a lot of people from our generation who are fighting. I just think we are waiting for a leader. Many people became disillusioned when Obama couldn't come through like they thought. Not his fault, but I think that really hurt people and now they don't care. A new leader will come. Btw I like capitalism, and I'm a firm proponent for it, but it can't exist with a socialist base. It just can't. Like anything it has become corrupted and it's original meaning and values have been lost. That happens with all new things. This country will turn to socialism soon. It won't permeate sector, but it will occur. I think once we put checks on this mega corporations that's when the ball will get rolling.
