Military folks...if you join the army what's te likelyhood of you dying

It depends on your job. I suggest you join the Air Force. It's the branch with he most money, best living conditions and you will be treated the best.

My order would be:

1-Air Force
2-Coast Guard
3-Navy
4-Army
5-Marines

But it depends what you want out of the military. Different branches offer/have different benefits. You should sit down with a recruiter.

even thought they have good benefits i hope none of my sons enlist.

only reason I joined was so they won't have to.

I would imagine only the military people in combat have a high chance of dieing for obvious reasons.

I'm not in the military but from a outsider the non combat positions seem to be pretty safe

Yes they are. My recruiter didn't outright lie to me about anything. She just gave a few half truths and made it seem like she was hooking me up with some things when it was really stuff I was actually entitled to. If I knew then what I know now, I would have brought somebody that's currently in the military with me when I talked to the recruiter.
