I love the food in the chi. So much variety. Is Leon's still popping? Back in the 80's and early 90's whenever we went to see or family in Chicago we had to hit up Leon's for rib tips and wings:noah:. shyt was a requirement before we headed on the road back to Detroit.

No. It's not really aby sauce, unless you abs call the chili sauce. But the chili thats common in coneys in Detroit ain't like chili in other places. I dint fukk with hot dogs, but i would kill for some hot ass chili cheese fries right now.


And like @eastside313 said, Chicago mild sauce ain't the same kind of sauce as the sauces at these other wing spots. That shyt is its own flavor.

Detroit Chili Sauce is greek. It's almost identical to Cinci chili.
It is a Mediterranean creation.
I've had both.

Oh ok. I thought you were referring to some other sauce besides the chili. That's why i said unless you talking about the chili. My bad then. We saying the same thing. You can't get the chili at no damn 7-11 for those that dint know. And it makes sense that the sauce has greek origins, since all the coneys in detroit are greek based.

The burbs ONLY claim the city when we are out of town. You know damn well folks outside of here don't know where Posen, Riverdale, Blue Island, Dolton, Markham, Burnham, etc...
