Its probably just because its been a minute since I have seen Mikey in the ring.Wouldnt we say the same for Crawford too though?
I mean, he has had HUGE size advantages in his last couple outings at 135....especially the last 2 fights against Gamboa and Beltran when he came in the ring as almost a Middleweight (weighed in at 152 on fight night for Gamboa and 153 on fight night for Beltran). Mikey Garcia can rehydrate high as well though, so they arent that much different as far as physically (Crawford does have the slight 1 inch height and 2 inch reach advantage).
Well I do think highly of Mikey and think he's a very solid fighter, with good fundamentals and good power, but he's never fought above 130 let alone 140. I can't think of one advantage he has over Crawford if they were to fight, crawford is faster and more athletic, more versatile, much naturally bigger, has better defence and is more proven against better competition. Garcia does possibly have more power and has a better knockout rate, but again his power is untested at 140. Also you have to take into account Garcia's ring rust. I think Gamboa/Garcia would be a much better comeback fight for him honestly.

I'll go with Crawford. He seems to be a smart guy, so I doubt that Mikey will have a ton of chances to counter him. I do like both guys.
