Spence killed Mikey's ambition. He didn't know how to handle that loss. The fans stayed on his ass for not fighting hard enough after "He saw something".

Even before that fight he had no ambition. You might not know this because you don't know shyt about boxing but he left before to be a cop.

Not surprised at all he'd retire. It always seemed like he fought because it was the family business and not because he had no other choice or because he loved to fight.

This was Joe's guy. I used to kill him about Garcia lol. I was just never a fan because I could kinda tell his heart wasn't in it. So in way I'm glad he's retiring. Not because I don't like him, but because I'd rather see him gone than to stick around long enough and really get beat up because he lost the passion for it.

I remember watching that shyt. You could tell he didn't want to be there. I'm not saying he knew they would be his last fight but homie was in the ring like watching a wack movie and you keep looking at your watch because you can't wait to leave.
