There's this thing where Hip Hop Hooray ....because it became such a mainstream hit...that it doesn't get the respect it deserves as an absolute banger of a song.

Like it's a hit song, but if you just forget about the chorus and the fact that they play it at baseball stadiums around the country with goofy middle aged moms swaying side to side...which kind of takes away from its "coolness" a bit...

Dude, that beat is gangster as fukk.
I don't know how to really express it. I love that song.

One of the ones I was going to mention.

That song was brand new to the mainstream. In fact, that was the first time I heard it outside of the initial album listen before it hit the radio.

Another one I liked was Mayweather's ring walk to Juicy during the first fight vs Castillo.

Although dude got knocked out, Montell Griffin's ring walk to Victory vs Roy Jones was also great.

I think it was Gabriel Ruelas walking out to I'll Be Missing You vs Arturo Gatti.

3/4 of these were 1997, Bad Boy was running it around that time.

Vernon Forrest (RIP) had a few good ones as well with some of the Atlanta rappers and Jermaine Dupri.
