Triller and Mike Tyson's Legends Only League are trying to make its maiden voyage into producing a boxing pay-per-view as big as possible by reaching into a deep well of mainstays in the sport.
The entertainment platform announced the principals who’ll be tasked with producing a palatable product on the screen for the exhibition showdown between Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 28.
Hall of Fame broadcaster Al Bernstein will provide play-by-play coverage, and Sugar Ray Leonard and UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will serve as analysts.
“It’s surreal that I’m actually given the opportunity to witness these two living legends compete ringside,” said Adesanya. “I grew up watching these two boxing icons in the ring and am honored to be on the sidelines commenting on one of the greatest comeback fights of all time.”
“I’ve never seen a night with so many iconic names on the program. This matchup is something I thought I’d only see in my dreams, but here we are,” said Leonard.
Hall of Fame broadcaster and author of the new book “Talking to GOATs” Jim Gray will provide pre-and-post fight interviews, while boxing aficionado and co-voice of “The 3 Knockdown Rule” podcast Mario Lopez will move the program along as the event’s host, much like he does for NBC’s “Access Hollywood.”
Michael Buffer will serenade the screens with his iconic line of “Let’s Get Ready To Rumble” for the main event, while ring announcer Barrie Egget will introduce the fighters in action for the undercard. Ernesto Amador will provide the primary Spanish commentary.
Grammy Award-winning artist Ne-Yo will perform the National Anthem.
“Opening for a fight of this magnitude is an honor and I can’t wait to witness one of the most noteworthy nights of the decade. I may be performing, but I am a fan at the end of the day and I look forward to witnessing this once in a lifetime lineup,” says Ne-Yo.
Earlier this week it was announced that Da Baby, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and YG will each have multi-song performances.
The eight-round exhibition between Tyson and Jones Jr. will be fought in two-minute rounds and be scored remotely by the WBC. The California State Athletic Commission has sanctioned the fight. The undercard will feature fights between Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson, Badou Jack vs. Blake McKernan and Viddal Riley vs. Rashad Coulter.
The Tyson vs Jones PPV can be purchased on cable and satellite, as well as digitally on TysonOnTriller.com for $49.99 in the United States and Canada.
Tyson-Jones: CSAC Won’t Score, Announce Winner, WBC Judges Revealed

As the Mike Tyson versus Roy Jones Jr. exhibition match inches closer, new specifics around the event are surfacing ahead of the Nov. 28 showdown at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
BoxingScene.com spoke with several sources and has been informed that although the California State Athletic Commission approved the meeting to take place between the two all-time greats, the match will not be scored by any of the state’s judges, nor will the commission be announcing a winner after the fight.
The WBC will be handling remote scoring for the bout from Christy Martin, Vinny Pazienza and Chad Dawson, a trio of former champions from the sanctioning body.
The WBC previously announced that “each round will be scored and announced to the public with scoring criteria taking into consideration.” The WBC also created a “Frontline Battle Belt” with the inscription “Black Lives Matter” so that it can be awarded to one of the veterans after the eight-round match unfolds with 12-ounce gloves over two-minute rounds.
Although VADA will be performing the Clean Boxing Program out of competition anti-doping testing for both fighters, drug testing for marijuana won’t be included. Tyson is the founder of the cannabis company Tyson Ranch and is known to still indulge in marijuana, most notably on his Hotboxin’ podcast.
Although social media platform Triller is producing the fight in partnership with Tyson’s recently launched Legends Only League, the promoter of record of the event will be CES Boxing head Jimmy Burchfield.
The Tyson vs Jones PPV can be purchased on cable and satellite, as well as digitally on TysonOnTriller.com for $49.99 in the United States and Canada. The undercard will feature fights between YouTuber Jake Paul vs. former NBA star Nate Robinson, former champion Badou Jack vs. Blake McKernan and Mayweather Promotions prospect Viddal Riley vs. Rashad Coulter.
