Marques went hard with the weights and look were it got him, :deadmanny:

One of these days, I'll switch to an all calisthenic workout, not sure when though. Heck my current regime incorporates numerous calisthenic exercises...

Not mention, I'll have days where, I just hit up the park for 30 minutes or sohh and go ham.

He has a boxers body. short torso,wide chest and wide hips. Depends what your goals are

Not everybody got Tyson's genes though. Herschel Walker said the same thing. All he does is situps and pushups.

But on the other hand, I stopped doing back exercises and just started doing a variety of weighted pull ups.....the results were night and day.

Yup, and that's part of the reason why he didn't look the same. He was a wash after prison regardless, but boxers don't lift weights, definitely not heavy weights for maxing out.

You may see some lighter weights for muscle endurance though

some people just got crazy ass genetics breh. Let's not act like weight lifting gives you functional strength. That's why boxers don't lift heavy like that.

so if someone goes from deadlifting 200lbs and gains 50lbs and can deadlift 600, i'm sure that all dem gainzzz were nonfunctional :troll:

Whoa now. Weightlifting wont necessarily make you a better fighter. But unless you train like a n00b bodybuilder it is functional.
