If the Steelers win on Sunday, it will be their 6th double-digit win season in the last 10 years.

Yeah and 4 of those 6 seasons happened 2014-2017 when they still had Big Ben, Bell and AB.
This is an interesting way of trying to frame things to make them seem better than they are.

Are the Steelers going to get a time machine or a different strategy?
I'll say it again, if we're going to argue that Tomlin is a top coach and is maximizing this roster, I think we need to have a serious discussion about how Pittsburgh is failing him. Top coach and no playoff wins since 2016.

9-8, 9-7-1, 8-8 10-7 is wack in today's NFL. Sitting in the spot year after year is bad strategy.

The two 12-win seasons were when Rothlisberger was 35 and 38. It's not like he was carrying them on talent alone. They were a complete team.

Now they have a mess and are still winning 9-10 games a year. That's better than 60-70% of the league. Yeah, they need a decent QB and a few other changes, but why use that fact to diminish Tomlin's coaching?

I didn't diminish his coaching, I said 8-10 win seasons are typically a waste of time and I don't think a "non-losing season" is an accomplishment.
Right now there are 20 teams in the league with non-losing records. Some of the teams with losing records are tanking/rebuilding.

Tomlin is a great coach but either he or the Steelers have a flawed strategy. They have 0 playoff wins since 2016 (22 other teams have won at least 1 in this time frame) and 1 top 10 pick in that period.
You never want to be a treadmill team, and that's basically what they've been a while now.

Why are we celebrating this?

If they would have had even average qb play they would have had 13 wins this season

Mason Rudolph is basically a slightly more mobile version of Tommy Maddox. He has fundamentals and can hit the open receiver. Basic qb play. If Steelers would have had that all year they would be near the top of the AFC

I’m assuming the ravens rest their starters, locking the Steelers in to 7th seed and the Bills beat Miami to lock in the 2nd seed.

Y’all gon learn to stop questioning me. I been doing this for a lil minute now
