If Dallas gets flack for no titles ignoring their winning seasons division titles and generally above the norm performance why is it that the Steelers, outside of the raiders the only franchise that has the national fandom of the cowboys gets a pass?

If the standard is lower fine just be open about it, but if the standard is titles this means nothing. Just like the 10-12 wins seasons that Marty got with the chargers meant nothing.

The Cowboys only get flack because they're THE team of the NFL. They have the largest fanbase, so by comparison they have the most enemies. They're always talked about, one way or the other. Hell, they could have a season of 2-15, and another team/fanbase not making the playoffs will say "well, at least we beat the Cowboys."
