My city's mayor EXCLUSIVELY does his business through an AOL account.
As in, he doesn't even touch his city email account, at best his administrative assistant may handle some correspondence through hers. I'm not there any more, but last I heard AOL blocked the entire city domain email.
So now, city employees have no way of contacting the mayor by their allocated city email accounts. And if the mayor sends an email to a city employee, they have no way to respond to him. The head of IT's been trying for WEEKS to get AOL to unblock them (they've been flat-out refusing to with no explanation), and this old-ass luddite motherfukker just plain refuses to switch. I mean literally, if you're in his office and he opens up his internet, you will be guaranteed to hear "Welcome! You've got mail!"
IN TWO THOUSAND MUTHAfukkIN SEVENTEEN.
shyt, now I hope he gets voted out next month....
