Underrated is your opinion, I cant knock it....not a fair matchup. McCallum was just about prime at 154.at McCallum being simply ok. he was probably an underrated fighter. still, not sure why we are making this hypothetical match between a guy who was best at 130-135 against a guy who was best at 154-160

He didnt know who mike mccallum was until I posted this thread.
if there was one type of fighter that g-man had trouble against is nikkas who were slick boxers...everyone is aware of the nigel benn loss but he had 2 losses in a row to slick light hitting boxers who were able to counter his aggressive style..not too say i wouldn't think he wouldn't trouble mike in the early rounds but mike's beard was solid enough that i think he could weather the storm and box gerald's ears off...possibly stop g-man late with body shot/head accumulation
