I agree but people are very sensitive nowadays. He's so old he might make an unfortunate reference or something. I love Mike, I just want him to stay in his wheelhouse.

I gets down with Mike, but I know what the deal is gonna be today; Mike don't like the celebrations, period. I heard the opening of the show just out of curiosity to hear what he would say, and I knew he would go "it's not race, look at Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson and Russell Wilson".
It's a slow news cycle and it's an easy way to get calls.

But its not just about him not liking celebrations, its the dismissive tone he's using with Cam on why Cam said what he said. An old out of touch white man from LI can't tell a 25 something year old Black man how he should interpret criticism and how race is involved. But then again this is how out of touch and unaware these dudes are, I work with nothing but Francesa types at the executive level at my job.

the one i heard "he's immature, he needs to grow up. he can be one of the greats, but he won't have many fans, blah blah" this is so blatently obvious. i also heard Kay for a second a black dude was making a good arguments while old white people (aka the fukkin worst sports fans in the world) don't like guys like Cam.
