I know a lot of cats wanna make the parallel between ODB's actions yesterday & old school 70s & 80s football, but here's the difference: let a Flipper Anderson or a Quinn Early do that head butt to Eric Wright back in the day & you think he wouldn't have had to answer to Ronnie Lott, Keena Turner, Charles Haley, or Hacksaw Reynolds? He'd have been duffed out right there and the game would just move on... only thing worse would be if you did that to Lester Hayes and Lyle Alzado put it upon himself to police the situation

I never criticize athletes, but what was going on yesterday was just shytty. He clearly felt they went over the line in taunting him, so he went back over the line.
He did what he thought he had to to get back at Norman. I think hitting him in the head was wrong.

Can't believe some of the initial responses to this bush league tactics by ODB yesterday. This isn't a race thing at all, I listen to the fan everyday and although the people who call in are 98% white I've never gotten any racial vibes from there.
Regardless, everything said today was 100% accurate. Idk how many of y'all are from the tri state area, but after that catch they basically crowned him. And that's another point Mike hit on. Back in the day you had to win to get praise, now you just gotta make top plays. The Giants are a losing team with Beckham in the lineup, but you wouldn't know from all his highlights they show
