I need your opinion on something coli people...

Is it wrong that I've been judging really harshly the posters that AREN'T posting in this thread or checking this out?

Like I'm not trying to be judgemental or nothing like that...but I really really really really have to ask how can you (try to) avoid this case, this issue, and this incident if you're black in this country?

I think this is honestly the wake up call this generation of black people needed. Alot of white people are simply NOT even trying to hide their negative sentiments towards us anymore...this situation has given them that outlet. I think many black people in this country are just terrified by what's going on and want to deny what's going on...as if that was in the past cause they can't accept that racism on a grand scale never went anywhere. It's obvious this situation really makes them uncomfortable cause they have to confront harsh truths about American society and how race factors into the equation.

Its crazy how many folks I know that just don't really care about this.

We are stuck in a malaise. The mindset should have started changed a long time and especially after the disgraceful Trayvon Martin trial. Unfortunately I feel like something really really significant needs to happen to finally wake black people up. And sadly this wont be it.
