His deal with Roc Nation is a 3 fight deal, worth over 50 mil
so basically the last fight will be against GGG

Clearly the WBC disagreescan't force a catchweight on your mandatory
it's that easy
either fight @ 160 or vacate the belt
WBC should know betterClearly the WBC disagrees
Cotto's been fukked over numerous times due to catchweights, including Pacquiao (when Cotto himself was champion) and Mayweather, Mayweather has done this to numerous opponents. Yet when Cotto does it everybody makes a big deal about it?
Catchweights have been in boxing for more than 50 years, and if Geale didn't wanna do it, why did he sign?
Just saying
cotto vs mayweather wasn't at a catchweight, it was at 154
Sans Mayweather, he's right though. Cotto, De La Hoya, Margarito, all paid the price of doing catchweights. That azz whoopin Cotto took, apparently he learned from it. The chips are in his corner now, so he can dictate what he wants, and I don't blame him.

Slipped my mind that it wasn't a catchweight, Cotto's fought all over the place that you just forget
shyt, I remember that Cotto came back to 154 or 157 (forgot which one), one the title, and Pacquiao welcome a rematch, but back at 147. Cotto requested a rematch at anything 150+, Pacquiao didn't want any parts of it.
Cotto is unfortunately playing the bullshyt game that he and multiple other guys have played or been played by. We can thank Al Haymon for this bullshyt too.

Before announcing a December 1 fight against Austin Trout yesterday, former three-division titleholder Miguel Cotto did have serious negotiations with Manny Pacquiao for a rematch, and for the second time this year, turned down the Filipino superstar due to weight issues.
Cotto, who now fights at 154 pounds, refused to come down to 150 to meet Pacquiao in a catchweight bout,
