Microsoft threw Edge in the bushes and now it's reskinned and basically another variation of Google Chrome. Now they're basically bushing Bing to use ChatGPT.

:ohhh:

ChatGPT is amazing tho, Google is going to be forced to revamp Google search in the near near future.

Good article.

But (for you specifically) why wait for Bing to incorporate it when you can use ChatGPT right now?
No reason, but most casual people have no idea what ChatGPT is. When it hits Bing it'll be a lot of people's first time using it or even experiencing it's power.

yeah google should be a little scared of this
they just need to give a cool name
do not call it bing bot :dead:
They're more than a little scared. Before this MS report dropped, I literally just read this...

Also, finding that that MS invested a billion into OpenAI tells me that whatever they call it (bing or not) they will spend and market the hell out of this when they do integrate it with their search engine.

They are definitely on notice. Thing is, Google has similar tech, they just aren't confident in releasing it because the answers it spits back out can contain racist or bias shyt in it. Same with ChatGPT. Google faces more backlash and financial risk if they release a product that presents ethical issues.

OpenAI is still in that startup phase so they can get by off of how dope the shyt is initially, but it also forces Google to react in the market.

ChatGPT is pegged as the Google killer and there's videos and breakdowns about it all over Youtube and social media. I don't recall the last time Google feeling competition or pressure like this in a minute. Their ad business is heavily impacted by their search engine and the results it directs people to. This is definitely something to keep an eye one.
