I doubt we'll ever see KI3. If anything, they'll drop a remake of the first or second one on XBLA to gauge peoples interest. I think they've waited too long for this series to still be relevant today.

That Rare acquisition has been a complete dud. :snoop:

I wouldn't mind a KI and KI2 re-release with multiplayer added.

I'm not even a fan of the series but I'd like to see it make a comeback just to see the same people who've been begging for it for years turn on it upon it's release.

It was honestly a stroke of genius by Nintendo. M$ no doubt probably said "OK Rare do whatever you want" but Nintendo had a VERY STRONG HAND in whatever Rare did, making their games that much better. You can see the drop-off between the last N64 Games and the XBox ones. Rare doesn't do well on its own as you see, and Nintendo basically got a $400 million paycheck for something it could totally do in-house or easily pick up another second party dev.

I remember people freaking out cause Rare is/was a great company, but Nintendo did most of the magic. :youngsabo:

Microsoft has made that money back on Rare. Not to mention, some of the smartest minds work at Rare. Rare technology is found in many Microsoft games, such as Forza and Fable
