You ever hear of Xbox SmartGlass? You can use any tablet RIGHT NOW with the system...

Its not a 720... its not a 360. It stands alone. It will compete with the mobile market for games but... it will also aid both xbox systems via SmartGlass. But it should be able to do MORE than you could via smartglass.
I don't believe SmartGlass allows full games to be streamed to the tablet like how the Wii-U works (I could be wrong)
I'm sure this tablet will have that functionality and that basically erases the need to even own a Wii-u

They just launched Xbox Music and Xbox Video. It replaces ZUNE
And its available on all windows devices. Phone, tablet. Yes, xbox music/video

That's the thing though, I refuse to add a bunch of shyt to my tablet. That loses the whole point of having a tablet.

My point is the tablet has it's advantages for certain functions and they shouldn't try to fit every job into a tablet.

Cloud gaming wont take off because bandwidth will never be good enough to get hd video streaming without controller lag input. It just not gonna happen, hardware will stay ahead of software.

Back on point tho, unless they can make this an official xbox platform integrated with its OG big brother, itll fail. Ipad and various android tablets will keep getting released with more games and newer gpus. Microsoft wasting their time, but they got money to blow

if im reading everything right, by the sounds of it, this is going to be a tablet/handheld gaming system blend. meaning it will most likely have a built in control pad and buttons for gaming capabilities but will for the most part work as a tablet, correct? meaning it will work similar to smartglass only with added gaming functionality to compete with wii-u. thats what im getting from all this at least

1.) They reinvented the PC by making a desktop double as a tablet

2.) The Windows phone is new, brings new features, has a different UI that is better than the competition according to plenty of people who use it (have you)

3.) The xbox reinvented the livingroom not just with Kinect, but with all the features XBL has brought to the table.
Game demo's. Movies, Netflix, ESPN, A marketplace at all. All this stuff is xbox stuff that other companies copied. You want to talk negative about Kinect like if Kinect games are similar to wii games?
