It's not to just copy someone else's settings and start playing. It's to help everyone fine tune their settings. Each and every setting helps assist with better flying. The difference between better pilots on this game is not in the skill but in the mastering of the controls. You can have all the skill in the world but if your controls aren't fine tuned it won't be reflected. My boy was getting pissed because everytime he slightly moved left or right the plane jerked. He was about 60 seconds from just giving up then planes or flight SIM wouldnt be for him, just something he isn't into, somethin he tried but didnt enjoy. I changed my sensitivity on the controller (definitely didn't fine tune it) and briefly on the thrustmaster and when I let him fukk with it he wasn't getting frustrated and he's able to focus on learning the new skills and repeating the exercises because he knows he's learning something new.

The sharing of information and tips isn't something to shun. Theres someone out there that knows something you didn't and will have you like :ohhh: and enhance your gaming experience. One of my pet peeves is seeing people say "on YouTube....." "On reddit......" "Info I got from another site" don't get me wrong, good info is good info but we can share info amongst each other then we will be one of those sites people talk about, a source of info.
And what you say applies to Forza Horizon but not this game imo. Why? Because it's a real flight simulator. So if you really wanna learn how to fly that plane? You have to get used to how it really handles. It's not always about what's more fun. He can play crimson skies if he wants fun but if he wants to really fly a plane then he gotta learn how to adapt. I took off just one assistance and now I feel the wind, it's harder, but it's more realistic and I like that. I wanna fly with no assistance whatsoever and the game just becomes more enjoyable when you're learning.

But I can't speak for everyone, really I just wanna get this into my uncle's hands ASAP with a good fight stick. This is his passion and I'm excited for him. I'm digging it too tho :blessed:

Any of these paid add-ons worth buying? I’ve already downloaded the free add-ons as I understand they can improve the graphics
depends on how you're using the game if you're actually enjoying the simulation then you should get it but if you're just fukking around I would say wait until you decide if it's the right type of game for you

Does anybody play this with a flight stick of some kind, and will you feel feedback like with a racing wheel? Will it be harder to keep straight when dealing with turbulence/etc?

I play with the flight stickn yoke, throttle and rudders, which is why you gotta dial the settings in, albeit each aircraft is different but once you get it dialed in, it's complete control....Theres no force feedback but you feel everything and like you said when you take the assist off :whew:

Is there feedback in any of the sticks, maybe upcoming ones perhaps? Wanna give my peoples the full experience. But what you said sounds great too. What stick address you using exactly, what brand

Thrustmaster t flight x.

There's not feedback/rumble or nothing. But it's optimized for Xbox 1/S/X/PC. Once it's connected it's all set, the game know what it is and it's all mapped correctly.
