Everything I read so far sounds dope but knowing me, I would get bored if that's all there is to it.
On a basic level that's it. People not into flight sims and that don't get bit by the bug, flying around and exploring/sightseeing is all there is to do. If you get hooked then you move onto learning how to start the plane cold and dark, what IFR is and how to do it, VFR navigation, multi engine piloting, jet engine piloting, flying actual routes that are flown in the real world. It's really what you make of it. FSX was better with how many tutorials they gave you, teaching you how to use autopilot and things like that. The gap is somewhat filled by YouTubers, but you have to want to seek that out.

Its rare that i take anything serious on this lame ass forum. But this is an excellent post.
The game comes with challenges for you to do and there are mods like FSEconomy that add objectives to the game
The patch seems to be effective. My game has not crashed at all where it was crashing constantly before.
This game is incredible. Microsoft could have the "simulator" genre on lock if they leveraged their maps technology for other games.

i need a flight stick setup. i hate the controller for this
My city only has generic buildings and the downtown doesn't even look close to accurate. The tallest and most iconic building doesn't even exist in the game. 
But my hometown is accurately modeled with custom buildings and it's a smaller city. I may have to look into how to get buildings uploaded into Bing maps and fixing it myself.
