i have tried all sorts of medications from lithium to abilify and im kind of ready to give up ngl

any body here with positive experiences?

Hate to be that guy, but have you tried exercise? Also, look into something called Shinrin-yoku or tree bathing. Get outside and in nature. Try to get a couple hours walking in a park a week; the more natural a setting the better.

Medication should always be a last resort. Whatever they tell you, there are always side effects and some of them are contradictory

Yea I think I've shared this on here before....but I tripped when I was like 18 or something....young.... and had a monumental breakthrough.

I let go of a lot of demons and it changed me for the better.


I wouldn't say I was depressed but it forced me to deal with shyt.


I didn't know anything about mushrooms I just ate them and went on a ryde :wow:

exercise is a wonderful thing. ive lost weight before. this aint that kind of situation.

Exercise isn’t just about losing weight. I weighed only 150 before I started running which changed my life for the better. It’s moreso about the other health benefits that come from it mentally that can combat depression. This should come first before you explore the world of psychedelics.

With that being said Magic Mushrooms are one of my favorite mind altering substances at the moment. Took 1.5gs of some “Golden Teacher” last night. I’ve microdosed plenty of times for recreational purposes and have noticed positive effects on my mood and I’ve read it can help treat depression. You can find a lot of information on this topic online.

i like where youre coming from. thats what im thinking. either a low or medium dose experience with some good friends in nature to get me back in touch with my people. we are all about this land and ive forgotten where i come from

thats what i want to get back to. my mom is in the native american church but i aint fukking with peyote. mescaline is a dissociative or so ive heard. i dont want that.

Micro dosing is cool but use the opportunity to establish positive mind state, positive habits, affrimations, and positive forward momentum. I akin it to elevating your baseline for life temporarily then using that to align yourself with more of what you would prefer from life. Micro dosing adds a colorful tint to life without that deep soul searching and purging that may happen with bigger doses.

I don’t believe psychs on a daily basis for someone with depression is safe, personally. Have you been evaluated by a professional? Are you at least 28 ish?

I just listened to a new Vlad interview on math Hoffa channel and he tells the story about taking mushrooms ( only 1 time in his entire life)and that trip gave him the inspiration to be a DJ. He told his life would go in q different direction without that trip.

I don't like dude but I found that very interesting, the way he describes the passion for performing music during the trip is very interesting

make sure you arent on any anti-depressants before you take them or else they wont work. specifically SSRI's .

with your situation, A Long Saturday Night as Kilindi Iyi* would put it would help more than just bringing your head above water for a bit. BuT (!) OTOH you may just need a slight reprieve from the heaviness. Just make sure you are comfortable, in a comfortable spot, have had adequate rest, food, and hydration before you get started.

* - make sure you look him up and listen to him if you didnt know about him already.

You and I are just alike my brotha minus the alcohol. I smoke a lot of weed so another reason I started running was to clear the brain fog in the morning.

Have you tried mushrooms before? Everybody don’t need to do that, but I micro dosed a lot last year and It removed years of depression and frustrations with myself. It’s not bullshyt and people who have never done it wouldn’t understand. I’m 33 and basically was scared of trying it my whole life and judging my friends that is it and when I did my life changed. But was it necessary.. for me yes. But some people need to just do it once and that’s all that’s needed. Honestly the one was all that I needed. Me doing it after just was for productivity and creativity that helped me accomplish some things that took me years to do. Or connecting with the nature / enjoying the energy of the universe. But I have a friend who did it once and it did not go well. Just take a strong dose to get the full experience. You will know from there if you would want to or need to take it again. My first time taking shrooms completely killed my craving for alcohol. Like overnight. Haven’t had a drink since
