As long as black people dominate the population centers, we will never be politically obsolete, which is EXACTLY what they are trying to change. The amount of votes that Wayne County has is the most influential in the state of Michigan. So if they can get all the blacks out of Wayne County, it's going to shift the voting balance of power. Which is the same thing they're doing in Chicago, they moved all the blacks out of the projects into the north/northwest suburbs. The near South Side is already gentrified, and the wave is going further and further south. That's why I love dem Haitians, b/c there are a LOT of Haitians that didn't sell their properties when the market was hot in '00-05 down in Little Haiti. They have a cultural identity that Black Americans lack to a degree at times. All the bosses in Detroit (and I KNOW there are mad paid nikkaz over there, Meech ain't even the biggest to do it from the D) decided to put money back into the streets, blacks would have been controlling one of the most important cities in the country. (I rank it top 5 in importance). It's sad really, but what can I do? I just keep investing and KIM

Granted, I don't know the demographic or population makeup of Chicago or Detroit so I will take your word on those two places.

However,not too long ago;I heard black people were the largest minority in New Jersey but now the demographics have shift and Hispanics are the largest minority group in that state.

After Hurricane Katrina,there was a surge in the amount of undocumented aliens entering Louisiana to help in the rebuilding efforts while a good portion of the black population were relocated to different parts of the country,thereby allowing the Hispanic population to gain a foothold in Louisiana also.

Black politicians need to be confronted especially the Black Caucus. They need to explain what they are doing to protect and defend black people's interest so we don't infact become politically obsolete.

Until black people are able to organize a trade policy with some West African countries,where we import the goods for our businesses like the Asians do, you won't see any progress on the collective level.

Indeed, respect will come from all politicians once they see us demanding a trade policy with west African countries.

I bet they're sitting back laughing at us as we waste time trying to be rappers,condemn black women because they have dark skin, and continue to disregard an organized political strategy.

Just look at what Jesse Jackson Jr did, classic example of the fox guarding the hen house. The people in the communities have to take action, they have to realize they are the ONLY ones who really care, the developers, the politicians, the small business owners, all are looking at your hood like , you're the only one who really cares, so what are YOU gonna do? Sadly, most just choose to move/get relocated by Section 8

This is all part of the grand plan to get rid of the "undesirables" in Detroit. Now however you feel about Detroit you have to realize this plan has been in effect since the riots back in the 60's. So, first, the hipsters moved in the city, fixed up some areas downtown, and start clearing up the waterfront. Now, time for the hipsters to go (raise the land prices), and start making Detroit look like Chicago and push the minorities away from the downtown area of the city. Now they will get the federal government to go in with them on this and bring in the favored minorities, Asians and Indians. Watch how fast this happens. Unless Obama is going to tie it into his overall plane for immigration reform. It will happen very quickly.

What I'm going to do is make black people aware, particularly the naive black folk who believe Spanish people can't be just as racist as the typical white supremacist when they gain in numbers.I know black people who live over in California. During our conversations they routinely tell me what its like living there.The place is basically Tijuana on steroids in certain areas.You're likely to see livestock walking the streets,roosters waking you up six in the morning, and the frequent loud mariachi music blasting on weekends. I didn't include the random racial attacks done by racist Hispanic street gangs,which I believe in the future will morph into a partnership with white supremacist/ Neo Nazi organizations, who will try to attack black people on a national level.

If you look at north African history, you will notice that the indigenous black people lost when they failed to protect their borders. To our own detriment, we were a welcoming people; who embraced foreigners with open arms not knowing their true intentions until it was too late.

I won't blame all black people for Detroit falling into bankruptcy, but I will blame the majority of Black people who did or didn't vote every time we had some nikka running for office who obviously had no business running the city. That goes for the sorry ass city council even to Kwame. Now the city is going to be taken from them and there isn't shyt they can do about it. They will be out in the suburbs getting arrested next. The rich are carving Detroit up and it will be the next New York when they finish with it.

Breh, you need a community savings & loan, if not on a formal level, then on a hood level. Then there's gotta be a local agreement to only buy from black businesses, and don't sell real estate to outsiders. Whatever's lacking, the local fund puts up the money. As long as there's a general sentiment to NOT SELL OUT, you would see a change virtually overnight. We're the biggest spenders, we prop up a SIGNIFICANT amount of the retail sector, much more so than any other race. If those retail dollars were kept inside our community

ive already posted this video in another thread, but one thing black people need to understand is that politics is a secondary issue, politics is not the key to economic prosperity, overall we already have all the poltical power they we need to be prosperous, what we lack is skills and education, and those can only be had by us changing our culture, it wont come from an outside force
