For starters there a 42 million black people in America. Secondly if there were 60 million black people in America you would see both political parties fighting for our vote instead of putting us on the back burner because we are second to the largest minority group in this country.

Political power does not come from raw numbers, it comes from resources and connections. Watch me prove it one sentence: there are only 6.5 million Jews in America. So the key to black people gaining political power comes from improving mean income and standard of living, not having more babies.

More single black mothers without adequate resources having children they do not want will do nothing to improve the state of black America. I can't believe I even had to type the previous sentence.

key is economic power... and influence.. BUT the babies have nothing to do with it. Realistically, that issue is used as a weapon against black people and talking point instead of being an actual solution. Most of the issues affecting black people wouldn't magically go away if we aborted all our babies and only had two parent homes. That's BS.

Many of the people we have that are wealthy and/or are powerful and/or are effective at making changes in our communities come from broken homes or from large families.... many of the ignorant nikkas we see running around are from middle class homes or from homes w 1 or 2 children.

We don't need to encourage killing off children as a solution to our issues. Our issues are really : education for children and pulling resources together instead of believing the myths of integration.

Political power does come from a high population number. I can show you where black people were the majority in population and controlled the political scene for a city but once the black majority was replaced by a Hispanic majority they managed to unseat the black politicians in that city and replace them with Hispanic political representatives for the city.

That political power and shift only came due to the Hispanic population in numbers. Now since they are the majority in this particular city that was once a majority black,they control the politics.

So yes numbers does matter when it comes to political representation. Why do you think the Democrats and the Republicans are fighting so hard for the Hispanic vote right now while blk people are placed on the back burner.
