I was just coming in to post this. I was far more upset in Michael killing her than Libby.
Ana Lucia was one of the most fully realized characters on that show and the way she existed in a murky gray area of morality had me wanting to see how she reacted further down the line. She would have been good for all sorts of storylines on how the castaways should act. She had the type of personality that would have been in constant conflict with Jack and Locke.
But the show fukked up the whole Tailies storyline.
