That's a fair statement but it's not necessarily that true. ESPN leans closer to being a monolith than not being one. They have multiple shows/hosts/personalities that all talk about the exact same topics and all lean towards the exact same opinions.
Idealistically I agree with your point, but as far as ESPN goes I disagree. Now I could be wrong on this one because I don't watch ESPN 24/7 like others do and like you might, but I used to watch ESPN a lot and their views were never that diverse, and I doubt much has changed.

They have multiple shows ALL about individuals voicing specific opinions. And there just aren't that many opinions someone can have. So it seems like a network hammering home similar arguments.
And I almost never watch ESPN outside of games.
