lol...so yeah, like I said, Obama lost the white vote twice. Thank you for confirming what I said. So what he had the highest since Carter (which I already knew), he still only got 43%, dumb ass.That's hardly "riding the wave of white guilt." And he got only 39% in 2012, the lowest a Dem got since Clinton in 92. Log off, Skippy.
So why did Obama reverse a decades long trend of Democrats losing more and more of the white vote? Why did Obama get more of the white vote than more qualified candidates like Clinton, Gore, Kerry, etc?
If you don't think his race helped then you are even dumber than I thought.
Because the GOP was quite unpopular at the time due to eight years of Dubya and Iraq?
Any random Democrat would've won in 2008 with a similar share of the vote.

Because he was a very good candidate, we were reeling from a Republican President who has an approval rating in the 30's for most of his second term, and we had an unpopular war and a downward spiraling economy. But you already know that.
