i used to love Martin Short in the 90s...but didn't think he'd get it over Meyers & Strahan. I'm reading that Meyers supposedly turned it down to stay on SNL? Not sure how true that is.

Nick Lashay did his thang on there too. Dude doesn't have the greatest sense of humor and lacks stage presence, but he smiles A LOT! And the ladies love that.


He probably would have made the final few if it wasn't for his 98 Degrees Reunion (along with Josh Growbin - that oprah singer guy? - He's goofy looking with those jewish locks).
