Jordan's an omega level 6000 type a$$hole. I doubt he even tells his kids he loves them. The fact he even took 5 minutes out to shout out Kobe says alot.

I remember back in the 3 rings days, the Stans were beating their chests and claiming that Jordan was a cheese eyed father killing idiot who played against inferior Caucasian players and that Kobe was on pace to wipe him out of the record books. Now Stans are :blessed: when Jordan even acknowledges his ass :mjlol:

And kobe didn't score at the rate of MJ...

Hey wait a minute, go fukk yourself ... :JJ:
Actually he did, ur an idiot.. Kick rocks :camby:

Kobe averaged 25 points/game on 45% shooting for his career.
Jordan averaged 30 points/game on 50% shooting for his career.

You are clueless.

Jordan barely says anything about Lebron though :umad:

I don't know why yall think Jordan is secretly threatened about Lebron. This nikka lost 4 times in the Finals.

I don't think Jordan feels incredibly threatened by Lebron, but far more so than anyone else in the NBA. The fact that he barely says anything about someone who is a 4-time MVP and clearly the best player in the league over the last decade says a lot.

And what is all ya'alls obsession with players who fail to regularly lose in the 1st and 2nd round? Magic and Kareem lost 4 times in the Finals too, every time with a stacked team. But no one made a big deal about that. It wasn't until Nike hyped Jordan up and he went 6-for-6 in Finals that the new narrative "Losing in the 1st round is better than losing in the Finals" suddenly came into play.

IMAGINE IF KOBE HAD A PRME PIPPEN FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF HIS PRIME:ohlawd:

LAKESHOW WOULDA WON EVERY RING FROM 2005-2013 ON SOME BILL RUSSELL ISH

A prime Pippen would have turned the 34-win 2005 Lakers into NBA champions? Not to mention any of the other 5-6 early-round-losing squads in that group. You must think he's a hell of a lot better than Kobe.

I do appreciate that you're acknowledging that Kobe's prime consisted of 3 first-round exits, 2 second-round exits, a missed playoffs altogether, and only 3 Finals appearances in 9 years.

More likely, a prime Pippen would have demanded a trade after he got sick of having his effectiveness diminished from being forced to work with Kobe.

COMPARING CAREER STATS IS RETARDED, BECAUSE JORDAN WAS DRAFTED OUT OF COLLEGE AND HANDED THE KEYS TO A STRUGGLING FRANCHISE ALA LEBRON. KOBE WAS DRAFTED TO THE GREATEST FRANCHISE IN NBA HISTORY, OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL, BEHIND AN ALL-STAR SHOOTING GUARD, AND HAD TO WORK HIS WAY UP, WASN'T HANDED SHIIT.....SO YEA, HAD KOBE BEEN DRAFTED AT 21 WIT COLLEGE EXPERIENCE TO A TEAM LIKE THE RAPTORS, HE'D LIKELY HAVE SOME 40 PPG SEASONS UNDER HIS BELT.......AND A PRIME PIPPEN ALONE ADDED TO A TEAM CONSISTING OF KWAME BROWN AND LUKE WALTON, NO, THAT WOULD NOT LEAD TO MORE RINGS FOR KOBE.. BUT A TEAM CONSTRUCTED WITH PLAYERS LIKE THE 90S BULLS, THEN YEA, DEFINITELY MORE RINGS AND BETTER STATS/ACCOLADES FOR KOBE, AND IT'S NOT EVEN UP FOR DISCUSSION....HE WON BACK-TO-BACK WITH PAU GASOL AS THE 2ND BEST PLAYER ON HIS TEAM. PAU GASOL IS CURRENTLY THE 3RD BEST PLAYER ON A TEAM THAT ISN'T EVEN TOP 10 IN THE LEAGUE RIGHT NOW. CMON, FAM. IF U DONT WANNA GIVE KOBE THE CREDIT HE DESERVES....WELL, THATS ALRIGHT. JORDAN WILL.

Did you just try to equate 35-year-old Pau Gasol to 29-year-old Pau Gasol?

You do remember that Pau Gasol was 2nd-team all-NBA as recently as...oh, 2015? Not to mention 2011....2010....2009....

2015 Kobe isn't even the best player on a team that stinks like shyt. Does that mean that 2008-2010 Kobe was worthless too?

Kobestan logic. :scust:

PAU HASNT REALLY DECLINED...IN FACT, LAST YEAR WAS ONE OF HIS BESTS. HE'S ALWAYS HAD AN OLD-MAN GAME ALA DIRK, AND NO MAJOR INJURIES..CHECK THE STATS. SLIGHT DECLINE THIS YEAR, BUT LAST YEAR, HE WAS ON PAR WIT HIS SEASONS IN LA...U JUS SAID IT YOURSELF. HE WAS 2ND TEAM ALL-NBA LAST YEAR....SO YEA, HE'S PRETTY DAMN GOOD. BUT HE'S NOT PIPPEN GOOD....NOT EVEN HALF AS GOOD. ESPECIALLY CONSIDERIN PIPPEN WAS A LOCK-DOWN DEFENDER WHO USUALLY GUARDED THE OPPOSING TEAMS BEST PERIMETER PLAYER, ALLOWING JORDAN TO EXERT MORE ENERGY ON OFFENSE....SO LIKE I SAID, PUT PRIME PIPPEN WIT PRIME KOBE WIT A TOP-OF-THE-LINE SUPPORTING CAST, FOR THE DURATION OF KOBE'S PRIME....AND OHHWWWEEEE, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. BUT I SEE U TRYNA SWERVE THE MAIN POINT, SO CARRY ON BROBRO.......

No, I just think that Jordan has witnessed LeBron mentally check out (nice way of saying he got his heart took)...more than once, in an NBA Final.....Kobe...for all his faults...never was accused of being scared. That in itself removes you from being acknowledged by Jordan....Jordan was a killa...Kobe a killa....LeBron is great...but he's not an grade A killa..

Nice little cherry-picked comparison - Jordan had ONE great "all-around" season where he averaged more than 1 rebound and nearly 2 assists better than any other season. Even playing in a much slower era, Lebron's best 10 all-around seasons all look better (outside of scoring) than Jordan's 2nd-best season.

And Jordan's one great statistical season was 1989, the highest-paced season in the last 30 years (20 more possessions/game than in the 2000s) and when Jordan was playing over 40 minutes/game.

Basketball Reference has a "per 100 possessions" stat.

Here's all of Jordan's seasons where he averaged over 6.0 in both rebounds and assists:

1989: 40/10/10
1990: 43/9/8
1993: 43/9/7
2002: 36/9/8
1991: 43/8/8
1992: 39/8/8
1995: 36/9/7
1985: 36/8/7
1988: 44/7/7

career: 40/8/7

And here are Lebron's:

2010: 40/10/12
2009: 41/11/10
2013: 38/11/10
2008: 40/10/10
2011: 36/10/10
2012: 38/11/9
2016: 36/11/9
2015: 36/9/11
2014: 38/10/9
2005: 34/9/9
2006: 39/9/8
2007: 35/9/8
2004: 28/7/8

career: 37/10/9

First of all, at 6'8 250lbs LeBron better be getting more rebounds. But lets take a look at the seasons from their respective ages of 21-29 and compare the stats:

dwz4mv.jpg

While LeBron averaged more rebounds and assist than Jordan, in 1988 Jordan was asked to play pg (Pippen hadn't come into his yet own - about 3 years away from that) in that year, Jordan averaged 32 ppg, 8 rebounds and 8 assist while playing 81 games (no cramps).

My point? Jordan was more than capable of running an offense and grabbing boards...fortunately for him, Horace Grant and Pippen developed into great teammates - so he didn't have to take on as much - learning to pace and let others carry their own weight is as much as a skill as setting up a teammate for shot.

In other words: Jordan would have an easier time trying to play like LeBron (he proved it) than LeBron would have playing like Jordan...that crab dribble ain't gonna help LeBron put the ball through the hoop (the object of the game) at the same astronomical rate as Jordan did.

From age 21-29 Jordan had 7 seasons (all over 30ppg) where he led the league in scoring (would have been 8 had it not been for the injury in 1986).

From age 21-29 LeBron had 1 season where he led the league in scoring - obviously he was busy getting more boards and dimes.

From age 21-29 Jordan had three seasons where he led the NBA in steals (88, 90, and 93) and every single season he recorded at least 2 steals per game - in 1987-88 Jordan also won defensive player of the year, the scoring title and the MVP in the same season - the only player in NBA history to do that - LeBron is NOT touching that season whatsoever.

From age 21-29 LeBron never had a season where he hit the 2 steals per game mark.

From age 21-29 Jordan hit the 50% fg mark 6 times (while leading the entire league in scoring)

From age 21-29 LeBron hit the 50% mark 5 times (2 of those times came while playing alongside two stars from his same draft class - Bosh and Wade).

From age 21-29 Jordan shot over 80% from the free throw line every single year - 9 times (3 of those times at 85%)

From age 21-29 LeBron never shot 80%

I could keep going...but two last things...

Jordan's rebounding numbers were always considered excellent for a 2 guard and Jordan was waaaaay more clutch than LeBron has ever been or will ever be - and Jordan was more of an assassin and it's a shame that's something I can't exactly quantify for you...but anyone who has ever saw both players play in their primes knows exactly what I'm talking about.
