Kobe got 5 rings in a tougher era where there aren't 6'2" SG or white boys like Craig Ehlo on every other team guarding him. Just admit it. Jordan's era was weak. Yeah he got 6 rings but he never had to go against the type of hyper athletes Kobe had to contend with. Just looking back at Kobe's career, he had to compete with Iverson, McGrady, Carter, Pierce, Wade, LeBron, Melo, Durant, etc.

All those dudes are better than any guys Mike ever went up against. And don't bring up that bum Clyde Drexler. He only scored 50 once in his career. He was also a product of hype because of the weak era he played.

All anyone has to do is think what a 6"6 version of Dwyane Wade + even more athletic + automatic mid-range jumper would do to the league today, absolute murder.

:pachaha: you just mentioned a player that is INFERIOR to Prime Kobe Bryant

If D-Wade is the best comparison you got then you lost homeboy. Old Kobe has owned Wade his entire career. Prime Kobe would destroy a 6'6" Wade.

So, this is your definition of "owned"

Kobe - 28.6ppg 4.8apg 3.9rpg 1.3spg 46% FG

Wade - 24.9ppg 6.9apg 4.4rpg 2.0spg 1.1bpg 43% FG

An inferior player to Kobe, playing him that closely, a dude that doesn't have Michael's length, shot selection, athleticism or mid-range jumper?

I find it funny you can hate on MJ's game, yet not hate on Kobe's the nikka is basically Bizzaro Jordan with less athleticism and a much worse shot selection. It's more than just about the game with your attachment to Kobe, you on some weird shyt where you clearly have homo tendencies toward him.

First of all D-Wade may be 6'4" but he has a 6'11" wingspan. His length is as long if not longer than both Kobe and Jordan eventhough they are 6'6". Making him taller really won't make him that much better in comparison to Kobe. I agree than Wade with a more reliable mid-range shot would be better but Kobe already shyts on Jordan when it comes to mid-range shooting. Also Kobe's shot selection is suspect sometimes BUT when he has to play within himself he does it. Just look at game 6 and 7 against the Nuggets. He took great shots cause he knew how important the situation was. If Kobe ever played against Mike he would know he has to play smart. Kobe just doesn't give a fukk in random regular season games.

Next, those numbers you posted are meaningless even though Kobe has outperformed Wade statistically. I have watched every Wade/Kobe matchup since 05 and other than last season (when Kobe was injured and couldn't play like himself) and Christmas Day 07 (when Kobe was still recovering from off-season knee surgery), Kobe has OWNED Wade individually whenever they matched up.

Kobe can score on Wade anytime he wants. Kobe basically takes Wade into the post everytime they play and makes him his bytch. PLUS he can stop Wade one on one almost every possession. The only times Wade ever scores on Kobe is when he uses pick and rolls. One on one its not even a comparison.

Prime Kobe vs. Prime Jordan is a close comparison don't get me wrong. But Kobe is more skilled in my opinion and has proven himself against stiffer competition in the SG/SF position than Jordan. MJ might be better than Kobe but his dominance of a weak SG/SF era doesn't impress me enough to say he's better than Kobe.

No, MJ supposedly also had a wingspan between 6"10 and 7"0, so that point is moot. And the difference in athleticism between Wade and a prime Jordan is large, you drop MJ in the league today and he's arguably still the best athlete with only LeBron having a say.

Oh, so we're supposed to go by your assessment of how Kobe played against someone, as though you are some objective watcher?

Kobe can score on Wade anytime he wants. Kobe basically takes Wade into the post everytime they play and makes him his bytch. PLUS he can stop Wade one on one almost every possession. The only times Wade ever scores on Kobe is when he uses pick and rolls. One on one its not even a comparison.

LOL, I like how using a pick is viewed as some sort of crutch to you, the sheer idiocy in your posts is crazy. If he could score anytime he wanted to, he would, and if he could stop Wade every possession then why doesn't he? Why does Wade average 25ppg against him if he could stop him on almost every possession?

Prime Kobe vs. Prime Jordan is a close comparison don't get me wrong. But Kobe is more skilled in my opinion and has proven himself against stiffer competition in the SG/SF position than Jordan. Being more skilled means very little when you have a shytty shot selection, and Kobe's mid-range jumper is not seeing MJs.

So, his dominance doesn't impress you and you keep bringing up the "SG/SF era", this is how dishonest you are - Before MJ hurt his knee in the 01-02 season he averaged 25.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 5.3apg, 1.2spg 42% through 46 games That was against supreme SG/SF "hyper athletes" as you put it, and going against handchecking at 38 years old. You can attack his "era" as though he played 40 years ago all you want, 38 years old and putting up all-star numbers basically destroys your whole argument.

I mean logically if a 38 year old, 3 years removed from the game could do that with little athleticism the peak version from 89-92 with all of his athleticism and skills rolled into one would shyt on the league. But, you have some weird attraction to Kobe that goes beyond the game.

Kobe>Mike :yeshrug:

You must be 13. Go watch some of the old bulls pistons games and see of Kobe, Lebron, or whoever could have survived. Them nikkas was playing football on the court back in those days.
