It sucis because people constantly disrespect him, call him racist against his own people and talk shyt about his shoes... meanwhile those same people haven't said a thing about his 100mill donation or him building hospitals in North Carolina and all the other good shyt he does

Facts.

To be fair, MJ rarely goes looking for applause or recognition, which is totally out of step with this thirst-seeking social media generation. Jordan doesn't go on twitter, IG, or FB posting his charitable acts.

He did do a presser for the clinics, but that's probably because it was in the community he was raised in.

MJ getting that NASCAR money and best believe his name alone will bring in sponsors.

Bubba getting connected to and working for someone that's Black and basically the gold standard for professional athletes.

Both are doing this in a sport with primarily White males. I'd say this is a smart move for MJ and Bubba.

Hopefully they get enough sponsors so that their cars can compete with the other big teams of NASCAR. That was the problem with Bubba’s previous team. They had the big name owner in Richard Petty, but it wasn’t enough to produce cars that were good enough to compete week in and week out.

I don't follow NASCAR, but I'm guessing Richard Petty probably was just on it and name only and not out there doing the leg work and being as involved as he could have.

He was actively involved as he was a former NASCAR driver himself, but its hard out there for NASCAR teams these days even for the big name teams. Sponsors are hard to come by these days especially if you aren't winning. Couple that with the fact that their sport lacks star power these days as a lot of the older guys have retired.

There just isn't money in NASCAR the way that it used to be.

That's probably the closest he will be able to get to marketing his brand in the sport. Bubba Wallace and NASCAR drivers in general aren't considered the typical athletes and will be rather difficult to market compared to other sports athletes.
