I'm not justifying MJ at this point, but his father was killed by black males, no telling how something like that changes your mentals(for the good or bad). Jordan was lighting things up for the black race when he was ballin in his heyday(simply for the fact the most famous man on earth at the time was him, a black man, alone)....so for the same community to take his father may have left him a little "sour"......like I said, not making excuses...just trying to understand.

Imagine donating to urban entities in Chicago and making appearances at minority heavy schools and trying to uplift and then in your mind that same group murdered your father. Might alter your thinking, make you a lil bitter is all I'm saying.

i thought white people killed his father ?

His dad wasn't killed by blacks...you wrote all that for nothing

One White/Hispanic, One Black. they were flaunting his father's championship rings on video

it's amazing how some people always look for the negative in a room full of positive.

mj uses his worldwide reach to speak on social violence and injustice against blacks....

..."why he ain't speak out sooner" :stopitslime:

..."why his shoes still cost so much " :stopitslime:

..."why he only donate a milli" :stopitslime:

the fukk wrong with yall :what:

mj giving us a huge assist by speaking out at all. we need to take the pass and score. some of yall cats trying to turn it over on some bs. we have to stop being so pessimistic and miserable. there's way more positivity to what's happening here than he's getting credit for.

Obviously Jordan is worth a lot of dough and had to tote the line here but it's a step in the right direction. This is one of the reasons Black America holds Ali the GOAT over Jordan. He didn't just win but he won for his people and FOUGHT for his people. Blacks critizing Jordan never wanted him to speaking out all the time and everytime but to just SAY SOMETHING. The fact he started with "I can no longer say slient" was an apology to Black America clearly. With that said I do think people can be too hard on Jordan, I'm glad the news coming out about him changing the sport business game with hiring more blacks than any major sports team any league in executive positions.

With that said the people getting on him had the right too. Jordan is very big and very influenical Black Man with a lot of power. Had he come out sooner who knowns what would of happen. Again the problem isn't "Community Policing" as Tariq said, the problem is Racist Cops and Unnatural bias against Black Males that go back 400 years. But he's putting his money where is mouth is and for that again I give him props. I know he has a lot of white business partners and I'm sure they told him to not speak but he obviously couldn't "Stay Silent" as he said anymore because even Jordan sees Black Consciousness is awakening on a level it hasn't been since the Civil Rights movement. Again I don't want to erase Jordan slience in the past but we have to salute him for using his powerful voice for once.

Real shyt...

I think MJ is also speaking out to ruffle NBA feathers. Since they wanted to silence the WNBA girls, and pulled the all Star game due to the gays..... he's like "fukk it" in an attempt to see if the league takesa similarly aggressive stance with BLM as they have with homo rights

:what: BLM is a feminist homo organization breh :snoop:
