:childplease: No disrespect but what the fukk is he suppose to say? Whenever there is a product in demand people are going to try to steal that shyt.

Interesting how this only applies to MJ and not Tim Cook, or Steve Jobs. People get their Iphones/Macbooks stolen everryday. How come people don't ask them to speak out?
Good points but I don't feel it fits this narrative. Tim cook and steve jobs aren't black.

I'm not saying he has to be the voice person for blacks. But like jim brown said, just speak up in certain instances. Things are not the same when jim, kareem, ali, & russell were in front of social issues and I understand that too.

In other words, those unsourced numbers were made up... to make black folks look dumb.
Yup, MJ created these irresistible shoes and forced nikkas to fight to the death to get them. They just couldn't help themselves, so it's his fault
:camby:

The idea of Black criminality is an 100+ year old ideology drilled in by both cacs and negroes. Nothing has changed on that front, they just changed the script. Thank you for this bit of information.

MJ the greatest. :mjcry:

True privilege to watch him play.

I know nikkas are going to clown(:martin:) but MJ and/or his people definitely researched those two organizations to make sure they are going to do exactly what they are suppose to do.

ETA: I hope the simple nikkas read this part from that article.

Today, the Hornets have more people in color holding top front office positions than any other organization in any major sport in North America. Since its inception, the Jordan Brand, valued recently at $2.8 billion by Nike, has always had an African-American CEO.

:mjdrinking: Believe dumb stories from some washed out rapper brehs.

This needs to be quoted every time MJ is questioned. Hasn't he donated to hbcu's too?

Not a fan of donating to law enforcement but for a man in his position it's a shrewd move. Pigs would have acted a fool so he gave them hush money. I hope the NAACP actually utilizes the funds properly.

Some people want to be seen cutting ribbons, making big announcements and shyt.
But he always does his stuff in silence because he's too cowardly to offend white America.
This statement could've been made by Peyton Manning (except for the black man part):francis:

Yeah, let's just pretend blacks gets murdered at Gucci and Adidas releases just the same as they do at Jordan releases since the 90s :stopitslime:

MJ should've acknowledged what was going on and tried to find a way to make these releases safer. Maybe theres nothing he can do but he put off the impression he didn't really care about it

When did that cover come out?:ohhh:

woah no one said he forced nikkas to do anything. He could've just acknowledged the issue of nikkas getting robbed/murdered instead of ignoring it and raising the prices of his shoes over and over and over every year. And to compare it to other major brand owners is dumb because other major brands weren't made by someone black and someone who has as influential as MJ was to kids at the time.

This nikka MJ been silent for years and yall nikkas caping for him cuz he was a good baller:mjlol:.

MJ stepping up now and doing stuff in silence all these years is dope, but a lot of people (even nikkas like KAREEM) have gotten at MJ for not being more active considering how much influence he has (which is prevalent in this thread:mjlol:)
