This is how I feel about it..out of all the albums mike released in his lifetime...this is the one i least revisit. It had classic songs but not a classic album feel like the previous if that makes any sense.

Shaq being on this album and Ill Al Skratch being on the maxi single for they dont care about us...talk about a come up for them :heh:
breh had Janet and biggie on the album though

Then after that is when I start skipping tracks. “Come Together” should have been cut, same with “Money” and “Little Susie.”
Nooo Money is one of the better album tracks. Remove Suzie, 2bad(ghost or BOTDF are better songs), come together, I like the message of childhood but he should have arranged if different, same for ds and this time around could go. I’d add morphine from the remix album.

“Come Together” should have stayed on “‘Moonwalker” and/or a “Bad” re-release.

Yeah this was when the rumors of him sleeping in the hyperbaric chamber or whatever came out, remember that shyt? I remember reading that shyt in like the National Inquirer or some shyt and they called him "Wacko Jacko" lol...

shyt always stuck with me but artistically in his craft, there is NOTHING bad to say about HIStory or 90s Mike. nikkas on here was literally saying he was losing relevance or washed lmao...

The Wacko Jacko and hyperbaric chamber rumors had been around since the 80s. Leave Me Alone was on the Bad album.

It was the child abuse accusations that really hurt his image. All the other stuff before that about him being a strange guy was considered harmless.

I remember Oprah having him on her show in the early 90s and asking him if he was a virgin.

Lucky for me, I have the original version of the album with the samples and the uncensored “They Don’t Care About Us” version intact.

This album had gem after gem. I still think he should’ve closed the album out with History (didn’t really need the last two tracks).
Lowkey kinda agree but “Smile” was a nice epilogue for the album.

The song “HIStory” was such a big epic song and having “”Little Susie” follow right after that was too much. He should have left it off the album and put it on “Blood On The Dance Floor” as a B-side or whatever. Maybe it’s own stand alone video/short film because it literally sounds like a cinematic piece of music.

I respect your opinion but you both wrong. When almost every record is a classic song, it's a classic album lol...

And that is why it is hard to really rate any album Michael made after Bad. All of them have classic songs, but the entire albums are being measured against GOAT albums in his own catalog. He was in a rare league.

As a jit this song was so incredible to me. It’s something about the vibe of it that is mesmerizing. And the fukking visuals :banderas:
