Yeah
If you want it bad enough Brehs you can do anything :wow:

Thriller" was Jackson's follow-up to his 1979 album "Off the Wall," which, by most accounts, was a critical and commercial success, selling more than 20 million copies. But Jackson didn't see it that way.

"When he did not win best album, he was so upset that he wrote in his sister La Toya's lipstick on the mirror in his room that he would sell 50 million copies of his next album," said Brown, who used to work for the Jackson family. "Talk about prophetic."

"Thriller" went on to win eight Grammys in 1984 and sell between 65 and 110 million copies worldwide.

RIP Mike... glad i grew up in a era to witness his greatness

feel sorry for the future generations, they'll never see anything like that ever.
There will only be one...I'm happy I got to witness his greatness too. There's never going to be anyone close to that...period.

I remember people were getting gassed up over Chris Brown and him doing that MJ tribute...but he'll never compare to what Mike brought to the table.

It's kind of sad in retrospect...I think one of the reasons people gravitated towards him was because part of you could relate to his struggle or see him as a human being and not just a pop star.

He never had a childhood...which is why I feel he surrounded himself with young kids...I don't believe those child molestation accusations. Joe Jackson worked them boys damn near to death and abused all of them just to keep em in line. Honestly, I hate Joe Jackson I don't even know him. I only know of him from "The Jackson 5: An American Dream" ABC TV movie. He's probably the number one reason all of the jacksons are fukked up in one way or another.

He was a terrible celebrity dad...but Marvin Gaye's pops was and is officially the WORST (we all know why).

Dont let c00ns like Katt Williams fool you!

the dirty little secret is that blacks never stopped fukking with mike. WHITES did.

I used to photography at weddings and folks would go ham when we put MJ on. BBQ's, family reunions.....remember that MJ had a legacy going back to the early 70s with J5. Black radio never stopped playing his classics. Rock With u, Billie Jean, PYT were still played on the oldies stations and they still played him in the mixes. Black folks just dont abandon folks as quickly as cacs do. White folks were never emotionally bonded to Mike so when his drama popped off they piled on him.
Straight up. I mean nikkas clowned Mike....there's no doubt he was an odd dude that was always doing outlandish things....but people still rocked his his music ALWAYS, and majority of blacks supported him when the allegations came up. Once again nikkas was cracking on him for being so oblivious and strange and putting himself in those situations, but most didn't think he was actually molesting boys

Yo, if Mike is walking around incogneto Tupac is living in Cuba straight chillin.

I even heard one theory that had me:patrice:

Supposedly, during the filming of that Pepsi commercial in '84, Mike damn near got burned to a crisp.More serious than the media reported, at least.

But since he was becoming a big star, his family/record company decided to hire a bunch of look alikes to keep his career going.

So they purposefully went with the "too many sugeries/skin bleaching" Mike because it would be easier to create look alikes that way.

It's said that the Michael Jackson on the "This Is It" concert documentary is a stand-in.

Far out shyt, but maybe this "Dave Dave" dude we see on Larry King is the first time we've seen the real Mike since 1984?:ohhh:

Maybe he got tired of the charade and decided to shut the whole operation down?

Just some wild shyt to spice up the thread a lil bit.....
