TBH I believe Quincy a lot of great musicians stole from other artists. Look at all the progressive rock bands that stole from those early blues artists for example and flip their arrangments. Even now it's more prevalent with the internet you got guys stealing and biting lesser known artists.

I read the interview then listen to the songs and I can see where he may have been "Inspired" By the bass line but there is no way in a million fukking years would I agree it's jacked or stolen or lifted. Had QJ not pointed it out I would never have even thought those 2 bass lines were similar. They are not similar and the vibes of the song are completely different.
