he had solid defense, not great. He had trapped his leg then lost it. Parralele this with Cormier vs Silva, Silva locked Cormier's leg and Cormier couldn't get out of that position.
Page did try a nice submission but once he lost it, he seemed to just be holding on. Any top notch MMA fighter would have given Page elbows in that position and some decent GnP. Cyborg left Page pretty much untouched despite his position.

again you're wrong, i just posted the proof, Cyborg had him in a mounted crucifix, after transitioining from one leg in the guard. He basically was able to transition to 3 different positions on Page.

He made no attempt once he was put on his back, he made an early attempt at a submission but once he was put flat on his back he was helpless. I don't agree he has solid defense and didn't take much punishment but it's Cyborg, he's old and and spent most of the round trying for the mounted crucifix instead of GnP.
what's funny is even the announcer states "he passing guard, maybe for the crucifix"
