When a black kid does the same thing and gets caught? Cops fill him with holes on the spot. And if they do bring him in alive they'll usually hit him with something like:
One count of premeditated murder - 6 life sentences
One count of using a firearm to commit a felony - 5 year federal gun enhancement
Once count of discharging a firearm in the commission of a felony- Life sentence.
One count of wreckless endangerment for every round fired - 30 more years
Attempted murder on everyone else in the car- 30 more years.
And because the crime was oh so heinous he'll serve the remainder of his days on 23 hour lock down. One hour of rec by himself.
No chance for parole.

Dunn started a beef with them then, emptyed a clip into a car full of teens, couldve easily bodied all four of them. He then went out for a slice of pizza and didnt even call 911.
If that isnt malicious intent idk what is.
The tried to follow the Zimmerman narrative in court, he clearly thought he would get off.
The sentence was just.

justice is served i suppose, but we still have the problems that come with the stand your ground law. it empowers these dunn and zimmerman types to think they can kill brown people at will and have a decent shot at getting away with it. it's a really sad state of affairs. we're at a point where the black community really has to take our own safety more seriously. that encompasses a whole slew of things (legally arming ourselves, knowing our rights, avoiding certain situations, etc)
when something like this happens it seems like no level of justice can ever make up for the loss. jordan davis could have been a powerful and influential figure to his peers and our community. all of our black youth being killed and locked up could have been part of the next generation that went through hard knocks, but helped us turn the corner. we'll never really know.
and for the families, this is a hollow "victory"...

Yes because Zimmerman had an all white southern jury. They know what they were doing with that and how transparent it is.
