my point is that you don't need to be hood to be black.....in that thread I was simply saying I identify more with Bron's background (i.e. being raised by a single mom in the hood) rather than Kobe being the son of a former ball player growing up in Italy and the Philly suburbs.

Don't get it twisted. For racial identification purposes, Kobe and MCW are just as black as any nikka from the hood. I just don't identify with them as much because of their background. It doesn't change the reality that they are black and America views them as black.

I never said anything about growing up in the hood. I implied dude's cultural upbringing and overall makeup is different. Both these are true if you assume dude is mixed culturally and genetically.

But if you think some pale dude with blue eyes like Curry's son is black, like literally black as opposed to obviously mixed race, well, do you. Nothing I say will change your mind. But stop calling people cacs when u don't understand their argument or don't argue with it. race isn't some real tangible object that can be measured scientifically......its based on social constructs......and whether you like it or not, there is really no such thing as mixed race in contemporary America.......you either black, white, Asian, or Hispanic

the problem you clowns who think race is scientifically based don't get is that alot of people who are PHENOTYPICALLY black (like the Andamenese Island natives or the natives of Papau New Guinea) are most genetically similar to Asians......while some Africans are more closesly related to Europeans, and so on

race is NOT real. Its based on society. And whether you like it or not, in this society anyone mixed with white almost always is categorized as the non-white race and everyone mixed with black is categorized as black
